Be a Volunteer
The success of Aide et Action not only depends on sponsors but volunteers’ support. We welcome people from all walks of life to join our volunteer team: no matter you are office workers, teachers, professionals, students, housewives or even retired, as long as you share our passion and vision to make ‘education for all’ a reality.
Currently, we are especially looking for volunteer support in back office matters like website update, translation, data-entry, fundraising and promotion coordination. Without your generous support, our mission would simply never take place. Join us today by downloading the Volunteer Registration Form, and return the filled form to AEA by mail, e-mail or fax.
Join our Voluntary Teacher Experience Program
Are you looking for opportunities to contribute back to society, gain meaningful experience that can eventually enrich your life experiences? Aide et Action invites you to join our voluntary teacher experience program where you can be a supporter of our projects to help either the illiterate women or the Tibetan children in China’s rural villages.
Requirements for joining:
- Hong Kong residents, aged 25 or above (high school students need to be accompanied by parent)
- At least have 5 years working experiences
- In good health condition (need medical or doctor’s proof)
- Fluent in Putonghua and can read simplified Chinese
- Have experience in working as volunteers with NGOs
- Willing to live and work with people from different cultures
- Feel comfortable in rural setting, harsh conditions and extreme weather
- Need to have short face interview with AEA staff before confirmation
- Be responsible for own personal safety at all times
- Understand and accept there is risks of life-threatening incidents due to geographical situations, weather and unforeseeable natural disasters e.g. landslides and earthquake and will not hold Aide et Action responsible.
