The children of Haiti are going back to school (15 March 2010)
Following the terrible earthquake that devastated Haiti on 12 January 2010, Aide et Action is implementing the project “Nap Vanse”, which means “New Beginning” in Haitian Creole language, to assist families affected by the disaster. Children and their families are invited to the campus of the University of Quisqueya, south of Port-au-Prince. Health care and educational activities for children are organized in partnership with the university. Meanwhile, Aide et Action is already taking care of the first batch of children who have lost their homes, and providing vocational training to young people to rebuild their country.
Help bring the children in Haiti back to school by supporting the project “Nap Vanse”! Just take a few minutes to donate directly online or make a direct deposit to our HSBC Account: 178-679353-838. Print out the online donation confirmation or the bank deposit slip and write “Haiti” on it and fax to us at 2815 3870 for record.
