Aide et Action(AEA) hosted a kick-off ceremony for the coming Mothers' Day cookie charity sale event today at The Institute of Culinary Arts, Cheung Sha Wan to raise public awareness on women illiteracy issues in Mainland China, as well as to promote the coming cookie charity sale event in May.

Aide et Action has been present in Cambodia since 2002. Today Cambodia is recovering from a succession of invasions and wars which have taken place over the last thirty years. An entire generation of Cambodians has been deprived of access to both knowledge and education. To promote reading and education, Aide et Action runs a project in the poorest regions of the country.
Dongma Early Childhood Education and Care and Community Cultural Center –Dongma Summer Trip 2009
The school at Dongma Village in Sichuan province was closed due to cuts in government resources. AEA started the Dongma project in 2008, offering classes to children and training villagers to be teachers. Our volunteers visited the village in 2009 and understanding the living and learning environment of the villagers. This video is produced by volunteers from Hong Kong.
Sichuan Post Emergency – The Summer of Little A (Chinese with English subtitle)
On 12 May 2008, at 14:28, a strong earthquake struck Wenchuan County, Sichuan province. Aide et Action entered the disaster area at once for emergency relief work and started the Summer New Life Project from 2008 to 2010. Let's see how Little A enjoys his unforgettable summer!
Rural Women Literacy Class – Ms Ma and Her Women Literacy Classes
Benefits of economic developments and globalization are not shared equally by everyone, especially the illiterate women of rural China. Hence, AEA cooperates with the Cultural Development Center for Rural Women to carry out women's educational programs in rural area in China starting from 2006. Come and join voluntary teacher Ms. Ma's class!
