St. Stephen's Chapel Christmas fete (2 Dec)

Our sincere thanks to our sponsors for their generosity and the support from ouor volunteers to make it a successful event!
Through the Charity Sale, donations were raised to support "Haven for Migrants" program,
to rescue vulnerable children from working at brick kilns and return to school.

DayDayCook Cookie Workshop


                                         The workshop was fully endorsed by DayDayCook. Volunteers were taught the steps and precautions in making cookies by professional instructors.

                                                                     Volunteers worked as tutors of local Sichuan women to teach them basic baking skills in order to improve their livelihoods.

2nd Charity Chinese Calligraphy Contest

                                                                                                The prize giving ceremony of the 2nd Charity Chinese Calligraphy Contest was held on April 27.

                                       The contest encourages participants to pay attention to the problem of poverty in backward areas, and on the other hand, to promote local culture.

AEA Education Foundation held a charity party called "Fun for Funds" in the evening of September 19. With videos of past events playing in the venue, guests could enjoy wine and food and

                         visit a variety of charity sales. The event was endorsed by sponsors, and the proceeds were donated to implement and plan education work in all parts of the world.

2013

Sichuan Earthquake

                                       

                              After the Sichuan earthquake, together with 16 NGOs, AEA joined the “Chengdu NGO 420 Joint Rescue Operation” (“Joint Rescue Operation” in short) to conduct

                            post-earthquake rescue by collecting and allocating supplies, posting latest information, etc. AEA mainly involved in supplies deployment and volunteers training.

 

Cambodia Trip

     In April, AEA Education Foundation visited Cambodia again. Volunteers visited local poor families and schools, as well as participated in AEA local projects to spread love in Cambodia.

 

2nd Charity Chinese Calligraphy Contest


                                                                         The prize giving ceremony of the first Charity Chinese Calligraphy Contest was held at Hung Hom Fortune Metropolis.

                                                              The contest aims to encourage primary students to write and to learn to give and share by giving their lucky money to the needy.

 

 

2012

Cambodia Trip

                          

                35% of the population of Cambodia is living under the poverty threshold. Due to poverty, children have to beg and scavenge for life, their lives being threatened at any time.

                      AEA Education Foundation revisited Cambodia in 2012, with volunteers visiting local poor families and participating activities at schools and street children’s centres.

 

TV Program

Miss Esther Kwan went to Cambodia to serve as an ambassador for AEA Education Foundation and to raise public awareness of the phenomenon of street children in Cambodia through the

   production of a television program. After the broadcast of the program, public reaction was enthusiastic and encouraging. A lot of people called to donate and became monthly donors.
